Oddcast creates a viral campaign for Disney's Surrogate; Ziff Davis Enterprise CFO heads to TMP; Brian McAndrews joins Clearwire's board.
Oddcast is Disney’s surrogate. Oddcast deployed a viral campaign for Disney’s upcoming movie called Surrogates. Consumers can upload a photo, change their age, mood, and race, then send their “surrogate” to a friend.
Interactive Advertising Bureau gains a new member. Next New Networks joined the IAB. Next New brings original television programming to the Web and plans to work with the organization to work on developments in online video advertising.
Eric Berk moves from Ziff to TMP. Eric Berk was appointed chief financial officer of TMP Directional Marketing, a local search marketing agency. He was previously chief financial officer at Ziff Davis Enterprise. Prior to Ziff Davis Berk was CFO for IGE and director of finance for the Internet/direct commerce division of Martha Stewart Omnimedia. He also served as finance director at Time Inc.
Brian McAndrews joins Clearwire board.McAndrews was most recently senior vice president at Microsoft, leading the Advertiser and Publisher Solutions Group. He is a director of Fisher Communications.
In-text advertising firm Kontera hired an executive in Chicago. Aisha Faridi was named an account executive. Faridi has seven years of advertising experience including work at NYmag.com, Hearst, Spark, and Starcom.
