Razorfish works with TravelChannel.com; clothing brand KangaRoo taps Studiocom for 30th anniversary branding campaign.

Razorfish New York was picked by TravelChannel.com as its interactive partner. Razorfish will work on the Travel Channel’s Web site and build an interactive experience for its visitors. The agency’s goal is to create consistency between the television and Web entities, ease of navigation, and promote the interactive offerings of TravelChannel.com.

KangaRoos will mark its 30th anniversary with Studiocom Boston. Studiocom will develop the fashion and lifestyle brand’s imaging, digital marketing, site development, and online engagement. The agency will also work on a line of signature ROOS shoes modeled after those worn by Chicago Bears’ Walter Payton. Studiocom’s work will support the brand’s 30th anniversary.

Brickfish hires a social media expert. Becky Carroll was named director, social media, at Brickfish. She will lead social media marketing initiatives including audience engagement and social media outreach. Carroll was president and founder of Petra Consulting Group. She served as senior consultant for Peppers and Rogers Group, and spent 14 years at Hewlett-Packard with her final role there being director of marketing for the U.K. and Ireland.

Empower MediaMarketing regains an executive. Ashley Reker rejoined the agency as digital strategist. She had been with Empower for six years as a media planner and client strategist and left in February 2008 to join Mullen in Boston. At Mullen, Reker was a digital senior media planner.
