Former Ask.com CEO travels to Move.com; Eric Hadley returns to Microsoft to lead branding and global marketing.
Move.com scores Steve Berkowitz. Steve Berkowitz was named chief executive of Move.com, an online real estate Web site. Berkowitz is the former CEO of Ask.com, where he built the turnaround management team for the search engine, which was purchased by IAC in 2005. Prior to Ask he was president and COO of IDG Books. From 2006 to 2008 Berkowitz served as SVP of Microsoft’s Online Services Group overseeing the advertising business.
Eric Hadley circles back to Microsoft. In November, Hadley joined Yahoo as VP of U.S. field marketing. Now he’s taking a position in branding and global marketing at Microsoft’s MSN online service, reports All Things Digital. Hadley joined Yahoo from a post at Heavy.com, where he was CMO. Prior to Heavy he worked at general manager, global advertising solutions and marketing support at MSN.
AOL’s Bebo gets tools from Motionbox. Bebo and Motionbox formed a partnership to provide members of the AOL social media network with video sharing and storage allowed with a Motionbox.com membership. This gives users access to online editing tools, video, secure storage, and sharing.
