WhittmanHart New York to support relaunch of ILoveNY.com; Toy New York hires Grateroles as interactive art director; OPA names marketing SVP.

Saatchi & Saatchi tapped WhittmanHart’s New York office to contribute to the relaunch of ILoveNY.com. The Web site is the official tourism site of New York state. The new presence will go live in September to coincide with a fall promotional campaign aimed at boosting tourism in the state.

Toy New York hired Fabian Grateroles as interactive art director. Grateroles, 27, recently worked at Apple. Toy New York clients include Office Max, Virgin Mobile, Activision, and Extended Stay Hotels.

The Online Publishers Association hired Perianne Grignon as SVP, marketing. Grignon was previously VP of media strategy and digital innovation for Sears Holdings Corp., and she held senior media strategy roles at AT&T and Bates Worldwide.

The Weather Channel Interactive is working with Media Trust Co. to provide campaign verification. Media Trust will provide online tear sheets for all online, desktop application, and mobile Internet campaigns.

IPG-owned media network Mediabrands hired Scott Donaton, former Entertainment Weekly publisher, to lead its new branded entertainment unit. The unit, called “Ensemble,” helps Mediabrands clients develop branded entertainment through an alliance with L.A. and New York City-based advisory firm Media Link.
