Spending specifics were not disclosed.
The move follows the recent signings of promotional agreements with Yahoo, America Online, GO Network, and affiliate marketer Be Free Inc.
Furniture.com secured a presence on the MSN Shopping site, and will place banner advertisements on MSN Home Advisor and Women Central.
Furniture.com will also become an advertiser-sponsor of family-oriented sites in the Link Exchange area of Web communities aimed at home decorating and real estate, and of targeted contests, events and promotions.
Furniture.com has gained a presence in the Real Estate, Home, Business and Arts and Entertainment areas on Lycos. Under the agreement, Furniture.com also gains a significant presence on HotBot as well as other Tripod communities, including Angelfire, WhoWhere, MailCity and Wired Digital.
Furniture.com customizes the buyer experience with live expert Design Consultant assistance, a personal shopper service, free delivery and in-home set-up and unconditional customer satisfaction guarantee.
