Getting a Job at AKQA [Video]

AKQA CEO Tom Bedecarré discusses what the digital shop seeks when recruiting talent.

Digital agency AKQA is on a hiring spree. The agency, which has offices in seven cities including San Francisco, New York City, and London, is looking to recruit talent for 100 positions, representing a 10 percent increase in staff.

“We’re hiring very aggressively right now,” said AKQA CEO Tom Bedecarré during an interview today at the agency’s NYC SoHo office. “We’re winning business and growing with our current clients.” Clients include Nike and Visa.

“A look at the company’s website shows that it’s recruiting for positions such as account supervisor, account director, management supervisor, project manager, and senior strategist in its San Francisco office.

ClickZ asked Bedecarré how AKQA fosters an environment for creativity and what traits it looks for when hiring talent. He explains in this video interview.
