Global survey reveals 95% of people comfortable browsing internet on their mobile

A new survey by Netbiscuits has revealed a number of interesting factors about mobile users, including the fact that a quarter of consumers now browse the internet on their mobile for over 6 hours a day.

A new survey by Netbiscuits has revealed a number of interesting factors about mobile users, including the fact that a quarter of consumers now browse the internet on their mobile for over 6 hours a day.

The People’s Web Report surveyed 5000 people regarding their mobile browsing habits, and found that 76% of consumers will quickly abandon a website if it’s not optimised for mobile browsing, and 30% won’t even try browsing a non-optimised site, and will choose a competitor instead.

The figures highlight the increasing necessity that of ensuring every website is optimised for mobile, lest companies lose out on potential customers.
