Groupon updates its website and mobile apps in time for the Christmas surge

Stressed out shoppers can benefit from an improved search bar and a personalised homepage containing hand-picked deals based on previous purchases.

In a move to prepare for the festive season, popular online deals and discounts website, Groupon, has overhauled its website and updated its mobile apps.

The changes aim to make it easier for shoppers to navigate the website, getting rid of unnecessary, distracting clutter.

As well as an improved search bar, visitors to Groupon are now welcomed to the site by a personalised homepage containing hand-picked deals based on previous purchases. Its mobile apps now contain a local explorer feature which tracks users’ locations and lets them know of nearby deals.
