Responsys, Cohn & Wolf in Deal; Ad Pepper Media, MessageMedia Team; BeFree Announces Wins

Responsys.com and Cohn & Wolfe Public Relations Form Strategic Alliance

Online direct marketing platform provider Responsys.com has sealed a strategic alliance with international public relations firm Cohn & Wolfe.

Under the agreement, Cohn & Wolfe will use the Responsys platform to deploy online direct marketing campaigns for its marketing communications clients across various industry sectors. The Responsys platform is currently deployed through the online arms of Avery Dennison, Chadwick’s of Boston, and Lands’ End.

“With this alliance, clients of both companies will benefit from access to leading Web-based permission marketing as well as proven online public relations, branding and marketing communications expertise,” said George Wiedemann, president and chief executive officer of Responsys.com.

Ad Pepper Media and MessageMedia Ink E-mail Marketing Agreement

Online advertising network ad pepper media and email marketer MessageMedia have forged a partnership to give ad pepper clients access to email marketing services.

The partnership will enable ad pepper medias advertiser clients to plan, initiate, and deploy real-time, event-driven campaigns through permission-based email communications by using MessageMedias technology. In addition, ad pepper medias network of 470 websites, which generate some 750 million ad impressions each month, will now be enabled with technology developed by MessageMedia, permitting targeted offers and customized messages based on customer data.

“We have chosen to work with MessageMedia because they provide superior, targetable opt-in email marketing services, with the most robust outbound email technology available today,” said ad pepper media international chief executive officer Ulrich Schmidt.

“MessageMedias email marketing expertise teamed with ad pepper medias excellent position in the online marketing environment fosters an ideal climate for advertisers to target their communications with content that is timely and pertinent for each individual,” said David Ehrenthal, chief executive officer, MessageMedia Europe. “This cooperation truly is a milestone for the development of permission-based marketing, especially in Europe.”

Be Free Adds Several New Marketing Accounts

Affiliate marketer Be Free, Inc. announced that it has won fifteen new customers in November.

Among those new companies launching campaigns with Be Free include Discovery.com, IAM.COM, Intuit’s Quickenstore, NEBS, Sesamestreet.com and WebRx.

The announcement of new accounts comes on the heels of new Be Free partnerships with virtual phone line provider CallWav and Eastern Mountain Sports, which will both deploy affiliate marketing programs utilizing the Be Free technology.
