Following the glitch-ridden rumours surrounding the rollout of Apple’s latest software iteration, just under half of users have upgraded to iOS 8 since its launch three weeks ago.
According to reports, only 47% of Apple lovers have switched to the latest system with a mirrored 47% sticking with the iOS 7 version.
The remaining 6% are reliant on older operating systems due to older devices.
Despite the latest iPhone model selling in excess of 20 million units since it was launched, consumers seem reluctant to upgrade their operating system with many citing storage issues and bug issues.
The big buzz around iOS 8 – the HealthKit – was also pulled from release last minute amid reports that it featured a flaw.
