The IPA is to host a panel event at the 44 Club in the coming weeks, aimed at focusing on the changing landscape of retail and the rise of the connected shopper.
The IPA is to host a panel event at the 44 Club in the coming weeks, aimed at focusing on the changing landscape of retail and the rise of the connected shopper.
Digital marketing and technology such as same-day delivery, contactless payment and personalised recommendations have removed the impetus for many to head to the high-street. The event will discuss how retailers can stay relevant in this new world of informed, connected consumers.
The panel, which is to be hosted by Stephen Phillips, Founder & CEO, Spring Research, will debate the changing landscape of retail and what the future holds. Case studies of brands who are making the digital transition will also be discussed, as will the an analysis of retail technology in Korea, which many believe offers a taste of Britain’s own retail future.
Phuong Nguyen, Head of Advertising, eBay and Simon Hathaway, President Shopper Retail Marketing, Cheil Worldwide are both confirmed to be taking part in the debate.
The event will be held at the IPA 44 Belgrave Square, London, SW1X 8QS on the 28th October, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
