Twitter is on the hunt for its first UK consumer marketer as it hounds ambitious revenue targets.
In a bid to double advertising revenues year on year, Twitter is hiring a senior marketer to lead its strategic development, execution and measurement of consumer campaigns and marketing programmes across the UK.
Looking to surpass £180m in 2015, Twitter is looking for a London-based expert to report to the company’s global consumer marketing team in San Francisco, US.
The UK is currently Twitter’s largest market outside of the US. The new position would help the company further exploit the UK market as rivals Facebook and Yahoo intensify their marketing efforts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the planning, implementation, creative processes and reporting of all consumer marketing initiatives in UK
- Own and drive marketing strategy to understand and deliver impact across the marketing funnel
- Build and leverage knowledge of consumer audiences and work closely with B2B marketing, BD and media partnership teams in UK
- Collaborate with all stakeholders in UK market and Twitter HQ at San Francisco to optimize in-market efforts and ensure alignment across Consumer Marketing
The successful candidate will join a 150-strong London-based team, led by managing director Bruce Daisley.
