K2 Design Inc. in New York City has been selected by Audio Book Club in Boca Raton, FL to manage its Internet media strategy.
Audio Book Club said it will use K2 Design’s expertise as a full service interactive agency for interactive media planning, strategic alliances and media management. Billings were not disclosed.
K2 and Audio Book Club have entered into an agreement to continue to develop and manage Audio Book Club’s online marketing effort.
K2 will work with Audio Book Club management to coordinate buying activities for interactive media planning for Audio Book Club’s interactive advertising budget. K2 will work closely with Audio Book Club reporting on the results of each campaign with the objective of maximizing advertising expenditures.
Also, K2 will provide strategic marketing consultation involving cost per action/e-commerce relationships with AOL, Excite, Yahoo, Audio Net and other online media properties.
Matthew de Ganon, president of K2, said: “K2 is extremely confident about its role in this strategic process. We have already seen significant gains in membership volume, while minimizing cost per member acquisition.”
The www.audiobookclub.com site includes extensive information about Audio Book Club and the audiobook industry. Visitors are able to join the Club, listen to samples of audiobooks, and enter contests to win audiobooks and other prizes through the site. Members of Audio Book Club can also browse through more than 68,000 audiobook titles offered on the site.
