Improvado raised $8 million to automate full-stack marketing analytics

San Francisco-based marketing middleware platform Improvado has raised eight million dollars in a Super Seed funding round. Venture capital participants included Bullpen Capital, Cabra.vc, and IAdata. Google and Oracle executives were some of the noteworthy Angel investors. In addition to them, the Angel investor list saw founders of recognized marketing companies including Auren Hoffman, LiveRamp; Joe Zawadzki, MediaMath; Omar Tawakol, BlueKai; Rajeev Goel, Pubmatic and more.

Improvado intends on using this fresh capital to further develop, improve, and expand their middleware software technology to continue facilitating marketers to collect and decipher marketing data in one place.

Bridge Connector raised $10 million for integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaas)

What it is

Bridge Connector is a Tennessee-based start-up that is developing an integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) suite that will facilitate the collection and collaborating of health care data systems regarding health surveys, administrative enrollment, billing records, and medical records. They raised $10 million from Axioma Ventures in a Series B funding.

Why it matters

Bridge Connector plan on using this capital to fuel their iPaaS suite development that will seamlessly unify data and overcome data disparity in health care. They also plan on expanding into new verticals and hiring across their sales and engineering teams.

6sense raises $27 million for real-time predictions of product purchases

What it is

6sense is a San Francisco-based start-up that uses big data for making real-time predictions of when people would be interested in buying products. 6sense raised $27 million in a Series B funding. It was led by Industry Ventures, with existing investors Bain Capital Ventures, Battery Ventures, Costanoan Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and Venrock.

Why it matters

6sense plans to expand its product with the new funding. It also intends to transform the traditional email nurture track into multi-channel, next-best-action suggestions that adjust in real time based on buyers’ behavior.
