Precision marketing company Naviant signed a $56 million strategic alliance with eData.com, an Internet-based information technology solutions company.
The alliance will allow access to and delivery of Naviant’s High Tech Household (HTHH) File, a database of Internet-enabled households. eData.com will design and implement a customized Internet delivery system for Naviant.
eData.com will perform data processing services and fulfillment in conjunction with Naviant’s HTHH File and future e-List services.
Using eData’s proprietary database count query engine, Naviant will have immediate access to its own data and will be able to respond quickly to customer requests.
“This alliance will allow Naviant to serve our customers more effectively and efficiently,” said Charles Stryker, president and CEO of Naviant.
“Using eData.com’s Web-based platform, Naviant can develop services which will streamline and accelerate our customers’ consumer targeting efforts.”
As part of the alliance, eData will resell Naviant’s HTHH File. Naviant’s precision marketing products and services cover four areas: e-Registration, e-List Services, e-Targeting, and e-CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Excite@Home and 24/7 Media are among the company’s strategic and financial investors.
