Netflix has launched an online FOMOmeter capable of analysing consumption habits across different regions within the UK and Ireland through social media.
The subscription-based video streaming company is encouraging users to enter their tweets into the FOMOmeter – Fear of Missing Out – using the hastag #NetflixUK.
The social media platform can then study trending topics across different localities in a bid to locate peoples viewing habits.
Londoners are more likely to watch House of Cards, whereas people in Southampton prefer Orange is the New Black.
