2 Guys Who Do Ads Inc. in New York said it has been named the first agency of record for weather insurance operation RainDay.com and said billings are estimated in excess of $3 million.
RainDay.com is owned and operated by Worldwide Weather Insurance Agency, weather specialist for major sporting events, such as Major League baseball’s All-Star Game and tennis’ Wimbledon.
RainDay.com, set to launch Nov. 1, will provide weather protection to consumers on an individual basis to cover both vacations and single days.
2 Guys Who Do Ads will be using television and print campaigns beginning in New York and Toronto and nationally by year’s end.
The 30-second television spots, which will be running on MTV, ESPN, VH-1, CNBC, CNNfn and The Weather Channel in New York, also will be seen on Canadian Network’s CBC, CFTO & CKVR. Tag line is: “When it rains… it pays.”
“We are extremely excited about the launch of this new product and its immensely creative introduction to the public with the advertising campaign created by 2 Guys Who Do Ads,” said Harold Mollin, CEO of RainDay.com, in a press release.
In addition to the advertising campaign, the new 2 Guys Who Do Ads Interactive division has also designed the RainDay.com Web site.
