Our last day at the Digital Marketing Show, based in the ExCel Campus, London, provided us with another fantastic opportunity to chat to innovative digital leaders within the sector, and seek out advice for young digital marketers looking to stay on top of all the latest trends.
First we chatted to Louis Warner, CEO of Contentive, who discussed the growing focus on exciting, engaging and quality content marketing which many brands are now seeking to promote within their own companies. The lovely Sarah Kiefer from Ooyala also popped by to offer her thoughts on the industry, and George Gilmour from the Digital Innovation Group came to chat about providing an all-encompassing digital marketing service for clients.
Farhan Lalji from Peer Index then stopped by this afternoon to speak to us about the increasing interest brands are taking in social media statistics, and Harry Thuillier (pictured) and Phil Williams from Squared Online came to talk about the growing importance of online digital marketing education for those looking to stay ahead of the game.
We found a bit of time to check out My Ly of Yo! Sushi and her talk on the power of social media in driving campaigns and promotions. My made the very astute point that “cats and social media are the perfect combination” – we couldn’t agree more!
David Prior came to the .rising studio to chat about rising interest in big data, with Ed Bussey of Xuvasi offering his thoughts on the growing industry of international content marketing.
A whole host of other exciting digital marketing and advertising leaders stopped by the studio, and we’re excited to get the videos up and running for your viewing pleasure in the next couple of weeks, so watch this space. We’re all off for a well-deserved trip to the pub!
