Samsung Gear launches world's first real-time cooking simulator in VR

Samsung hopes to monetise CyberCook by creating a native advertising channel, allowing brands to place products such as ingredients and appliances in a virtual kitchen.

Samsung has launched CyberCook Taster, a virtual reality simulation powered  by Oculus, that will mimic a real cooking experience for aspiring chefs.

Launched exclusively on Samsung Gear VR and developed by digital media, the experience lets cooks interact with virtual ingredients in real-time, preparing recipes step-by-step.

Samsung hopes to monetise CyberCook by creating a native advertising channel, allowing brands to place products such as ingredients and appliances in a virtual kitchen.

It is available to try free from the Gear VR App store.
