Techies.com Taps Digital Pulp as AOR

Techies.com, an online career resourcefor technology professionals, on Wednesday chose Digital Pulp to be its agency ofrecord, saying it would spend $15 to $20 million next year in a campaignincluding television, print, radio, outdoor and online buys.

Techies.com, an online career resource for technology professionals, on Wednesday chose Digital Pulp to be its agency of record, saying it would spend $15 to $20 million next year in a campaign including television, print, radio, outdoor and online buys.

Traditional media buying will be handled by KSL‘s Drive-To-Site-Media and online media by Mass Transit Interactive. Ads are expected to start running during the first quarter of next year.

“Today’s techies are visionaries and are passionate about their careers,” says Tom Tracy, director of marketing communications at techies.com.

“We needed an agency with an innovative approach to marketing that really understands how to reach today’s technology professionals. We conducted an extensive agency review that included several large agency contenders, and Digital Pulp demonstrated that they had the talent and expertise that would take our brand where we want it to go.”

The techies.com site offers career planning information, training, job opportunities and background on companies looking to hire technology professionals.

Digital Pulp’s other clients include 1800FLOWERS.COM, AltaVista, DoubleClick, and LivePerson.com.
