Amazon-owned game streaming service Twitch has been hacked, with attackers gaining access to users' account information, the company announced in a blog post on Monday.

Amazon-owned game streaming service Twitch was hacked on Monday, and attackers gained access to users’ account information, the company has announced in a blog post.
The company, as well as announcing the news publicly, sent an email to users outlining what had happened, and warning that their account information may have been accessed, which includes email addresses, passwords, IP addresses, and some credit card information:
“We are writing to let you know that there may have been unauthorized access to some Twitch user account information. For your protection, we have expired passwords and stream keys and have disconnected accounts from Twitter and YouTube.”
