Along with a celebratory video that boasts some very impressive social media stats, including the fact that 500 million tweets are now sent every day, Twitter also congratulated brands whose campaigns have managed to spread throughout its site like wildfire, in the 2013 Twitter Honours.
According to The Drum, @ThreeUK’s incredibly popular #DancePonyDance ad that swept through the internet was named the best integrated campaign 2013, as it demonstrated perfectly how a TV campaign could still take to digital media perfectly.
The most innovative campaign was awarded to @British_Airways because of its #RaceThePlane campaign, devised by the guys at BBH London and ZenithOptimedia, who created the idea of racing a new Dreamliner jet against a plane fuelled by tweets.

@adidasUK was named the best overall brand on Twitter due to its nonstop, successful use of the social media platform, especially recognised due to bolstering the very popular #WorldCup promoted trend.
