A report conducted by Salesforce Radian6 has revealed that two-thirds of online mentions regarding the unveiling of the iOS7 this week were positive, with many of the negative posts being tied purely to the price of the new technology.
With over 431,000 mentions of Apple between the 10th and 11th of September globally, and more than 26,700 in the UK, it seems Apple is still able to create rather a lot of buzz in the industry, despite many fearing it had lost its innovative pull.
As reported by The Drum, the UK was in fact slightly harsher about the announcements compared to the rest of the world, with the globe emitting 76.6% of positive tweets that included the Apple event hashtag, compared to the UK’s 67.8%.
The announcements saw the new premium iPhone 5S and mid-range 5C unveiled, as Apple seeks to improve its hold over the smartphone market amid growing competition from rivals.
