Social media marketing firm Viralheat has launched a platform it says helps developers make apps “more social.”
Word-of-mouth marketing platform SocialChorus and cloud-based, real-time marketing analytics platform Anametrix are its first users.
According to Viralheat, the platform allows developers and companies to integrate social data and capabilities like management, engagement, sentiment analysis, publishing and monitoring into their applications.
SocialChorus is using the suite of APIs to provide insights for its customers, Viralheat says. With the integration of the sentiment analysis API, Viralheat says its dashboard delivers real-time feedback on the mood of advocate content and comments.
Per Viralheat, Anametrix uses the new APIs to help customers market more effectively and increase revenue.
Viralheat also says its scalable cloud infrastructure takes care of details like scheduling messages and monitoring conversations in real-time, freeing up developers to focus on their applications.
Viralheat says it has 12,000 customers.
