Pasadena, CA-based WeddingChannel.com, a bridal registry and wedding resource, has expanded its advertising agreement with Yahoo.
Under terms of the agreement, WeddingChannel.com has purchased banners on wedding-related search result pages on Yahoo. In addition, WeddingChannel.com banner advertisements will appear on searches performed through Yahoo’s Society and Culture/Weddings categories. Spending details were not disclosed.
“Our existing advertising agreement with Yahoo has been extremely successful, driving a significant amount of traffic to WeddingChannel.com,” said Tim Gray, chief executive officer of WeddingChannel.com. “By expanding this agreement with Yahoo, WeddingChannel.com gains a significant competitive edge, through visibility among users searching for information about weddings.”
WeddingChannel.com helps couples through the process of planning a wedding and starting a new life together by enabling them to search for online bridal fashions and local wedding-related businesses, create their bridal registry and book their honeymoon travel online.
With its patent-pending integrated technology, WeddingChannel.com also helps betrothed couples create their own Web pages. The site attracts 7,000 users each day, 85 percent of whom are brides, and is the leader in online wedding product sales and bridal registries.
