Yoyodyne in Partnerships to Co-Sponsor EZSpree

Yoyodyne Inc., an interactive direct marketing company, said it signed partnership deals with a variety of Web site operations to co-sponsor its online shopping program, EZSpree.
Irvington, NY-based Yoyodyne said it signed deals with Sprint Internet Passport, Infoseek, WhoWhere?, 3Com and iVillage. Financials were not disclosed.
The partners are featured on rotating buttons on every EZSpree page, in addition to weekly email sent to all players.
Launched on Oct. 15 and sponsored by American Express, EZSpree is an electronic shopping promotion designed to get the e-commerce ball rolling. The promotion involves the chance to win a $100,000 online shopping spree.
More than 225 merchants have already joined the program.
Said Seth Godin, president and founder of Yoyodyne: “In just a few weeks, EZSpree has become one of our most popular and successful products. These sponsorships enable the companies to directly connect with the growing roster of merchants who are reaping the retail benefits of qualified Internet traffic.”
Each sponsor has category exclusivity for EZSpree. Sprint ISP Sprint Internet Passport is the official Internet service provider of EZSpree, and Infoseek is the official search engine of the program. iVillage is the official Internet community site, WhoWhere? is the official online directory, and 3Com/U.S. Robotics is the official modem of EZSpree.
