Clickable swipes Kalehoff from Nielsen BuzzMetrics; U.S. Navy tries podcasts; Digitas names an ECD in Chicago.

Clickable hired Max Kalehoff as vice president of marketing. The online advertising services company created the position for Kalehoff, who was previously vice president of marketing at Nielsen BuzzMetrics.

Efficient Frontier hired two execs. The search marketing technology firm named James Beriker president and Robin Smith senior vice president of account development. Beriker was previously senior vice president at ValueClick, while Smith was vice president of client services at Avenue A/Razorfish.

Digitas named David Mitchell executive creative director for the agency’s Chicago office. Mitchell was SVP, group creative director in Digitas’s Boston headquarters.

About.com named Sheryl Goldstein senior vice president, sales. Goldstein was previously regional sales director for AOL.

Burst Media named Karlton Gholston account executive. Gholston joined the online media firm from Grey SF where he was a planner on the Wellpoint Tonik Health Insurance account.

Siegel+Gale appointed Richard Pasqua as creative director of interactive media. Pasqua previously led design for Nickelodeon, RedSky Interactive, Xceed Interactive, and Doubleday Direct Interactive.

The U.S. Navy tapped Wizzard Media for a podcast advertising campaign. The podcast ad sales unit of Wizzard Software will run the Navy’s ads over 20 shows in the Wizzard Media network through January of next year.

Lyris named Blaine Mathieu SVP of marketing. The marketing technology firm formerly known as J.L. Halsey tasked Mathieu with branding and product strategy for its Lyris HQ platform.

IFC.com selected Winstar Interactive Media for online advertising. The Web site for the Independent Film Channel and other IFC properties named Winstar as its exclusive online advertising and sponsorship sales representative.

Live Universe hired James Revell as senior vice president of advertising sales operations. Revell joined the online media publisher from the Rubicon Project, where he was head of publisher services.

TiVo opened a sales office in Chicago. The digital video recorder company named Jeff Stettin vice president of national ad sales, and Dennis Dunphy director of Midwest ad sales. Dunphy was tasked with managing the new office.

CBS/Paramount tapped Mammoth Advertising to promote the Twin Peaks boxed DVD set release. The agency created “The Twin Peaks Coffee Brew Competition” to allow viewers to create video mash-ups from the 1990 series which will be judged by director David Lynch.
