Online sales on Cyber Monday totalled £1.67bn, up 16% from 2013, according to data from Adobe.

Using its 2014 Digital Index Online Shopping data, Adobe also found that smaller retailers (those generating £1.26m or less) saw a 5% jump in sales.
“Cyber Monday sales were up 16% this year, with the biggest retailers seeing the biggest gains,” said Tamara Gaffney, principal analyst, Adobe Digital Index.
“The early birds caught the worms on Cyber Monday, with shoppers getting the steepest discounts in the early morning hours,” she added.
Amongst the piles of extra sales, a jump in m-commerce was spotted, with 19% of total online sales driven by mobile, suggests Adobe.
iOS devices generated 79% of total mobile sales.
