Secret Sessions founder appointed creative director of PopShackTV

PopShack, the music network and development label focused on native YouTube talent, has announced the appointment of Harriet Jordan-Wrench as Creative Director, overseeing PopShackTV.

PopShack, the music network and development label focused on native YouTube talent, has announced the appointment of Harriet Jordan-Wrench as Creative Director, overseeing PopShackTV.

Jordan-Wrench, founder of leading music discovery channel Secret Sessions, (which championed artists including Ben Howard, Rizzle Kicks and Passenger early in their careers) takes up the role immediately, reporting to PopShack CEO Conrad Withey.

The new role will see Jordan-Wrench responsible for creative and editorial production partnerships at PopShack TV, which will operate both as a development unit for PopShack artists and as a promotional platform for 3rd party labels and artists keen to be featured across the PopShack network of influencer led channels.

Under the new arrangement the Secret Sessions YouTube channel will join the PopShack network, building on the tools commitment to offer a breadth of possible promotional services to other media owners, creators and talent.

Conrad Withey, CEO of PopShack commented: “Harriet has always been at the forefront of artist content production in the digital space. From her days at Balcony TV where she produced early session videos for Ed Sheeran and Jessie J through to building Secret Sessions into a highly respected channel, Harriet mixes fantastic insights into creative production for an audience of millennials with an eye for exciting new talent.”

Harriet Jordan-Wrench commented: “As a network [PopShack] is already 4 times bigger than SB.TV but only 6 months old.

“It’s great that Secret Sessions now has a new home and I can only see a breadth of exciting opportunities for PopShack to partner with artists, labels and brands looking to promote their own activities through our influencers.”
