As seen in a recent Economist article, it is possible to use Vine to bolster your online audience and reputation among young people, as long as you do it properly.
Check out these tips on how to pull it brand promotion on Vine with style!
1) Know your competition – Watch as many popular Vine videos as possible to see how it’s done. Some may be weird, some funny, and the most successful ones probably an awesome combination of both, so watching as many as you can is a great first step in understanding how to be successful on the site. As a starting point, check out some of the most popular Vine’s created this year at the bottom of this article.
2) Be smart, funny, and to the point – You can’t really afford to be anything else, such is the nature and short space of time you get to advertise with a Vine video. Shorter concentration spans and greater demand for entertainment means that Vine will only get more popular, so jump on board and sell your message soon, or face regretting it in the future.
2) Test out your ideas first – Don’t launch your Vine video into the unknown without checking if it’s any good first! Gather a group of Vine-lovers and show them your creation, editing and building on your ideas with their feedback.
