GotMarketing Teams with Whitelabel

San Jose, Calif.-based GotMarketing has signed a reselling agreement with Whitelabel Technology Solutions.

As a result, Whitelabel will serve as a distributor for GotMarketing’s do-it-yourself email marketing service, Campaigner, as part of its products and services for ad agencies.

Web-based Campaigner enables advertisers and agencies to pay for, design, distribute and track personalized email campaigns.

Whitelabel, with offices in Toronto, serves clients including Bcom3’s Leo Burnett, Omnicom’s TBWA/Chiat/Day, and ninedots.

Thruport Continues Delivery-Focused Deals

Ad server Thruport Technologies continues its effort to beef up online ad and content delivery, this time by partnering with Mirror Image.

Alexandria, Va.-based Thruport will use Mirror Image’s global network and content delivery services to ensure that ads and content are delivered quickly. Such services — popularized by companies like Akamai — are designed to ensure that content is delivered quickly to end-users by caching copies of it throughout the Internet.

For many of the services, Thruport said it would guarantee that content would be delivered via the Mirror Image network as fast or faster than the top-ten Internet sites, as ranked by Web speed benchmarking firm Keynote.

Thruport will join Woburn, Mass.-based Mirror Image’s channel reseller program as a result.

The news comes on the heels of last week’s announcement of an agreement with UltraDNS, to speed domain name lookups — and thus curb failures that impede ad delivery.

“Thruport’s client base is increasingly demanding network performance that supports more graphic intensive application tiers, rich media distribution and streaming applications of various sorts,” said Thruport Chief Technology Office David Moser.

Seurat Acquires eConvergent Assets

Boulder, Colo.-based marketing analytics player Seurat has acquired the intellectual property and technology of rival firm eConvergent.

As a result, the defunct eConvergent’s flagship eMerge product will be used in Seurat’s eVista technology, which powers the company’s suite of customer information collection, analysis and campaign management tools.

Seurat also said it would hire key eConvergent employees, who will continue to support eConvergent customers and who would oversee the integration of eVista and eMerge, which combines consumer data from marketers’ databases into a detailed profile.
