PodTech promotes McCormick; Spur Digital lands Stage Stores and ConocoPhillips' 76.

PodTech promoted James McCormick to CEO. McCormick was previously chief operating officer for the online video network. John Furrier, the founding CEO, will serve on the board of directors.

SpotXchange appointed Larry Goodman to its advisory board. Most recently, Goodman was president of CNN Sales and Marketing at Turner Broadcasting Sales. He is now a director for the online video advertising exchange’s advisory board.

Spur Digital developed Web sites for Stage Stores and ConocoPhillips’ 76. The interactive marketing agency was selected by the Houston-based national department store company to launch its back-to-school microsite. Separately, the West Coast gas company used Spur Digital to launch its my76video.com video contest site.

Veoh Networks named Gaude Lydia Paez as head of public relations. Paez joined the online video company from Yahoo.
