MAGNA hires Elizabeth Herbst-Brady as president; Crisp Wireless names Thomas Foran chief revenue officer in timel for CTIA Wireless.
IPG Mediabrands intelligence unit MAGNA named Elizabeth Herbst-Brady president. Herbst-Brady will guide the company toward media delivery platforms such as digital, print, radio, and television. She spent the last two years as GSM SVP of syndication ad sales of 20th Television, a division of 20th Century Fox, where she ran advertising sales.
Crisp Wireless recruited Thomas Foran as chief revenue officer. Foran was previously at Quigo, an online advertising network, where he was GM of sales and operations. Earlier he was senior director, strategic alliance and search marketing at Yahoo, managing the East and Midwest sales team for Yahoo Search, Travel, and Shopping.
Jack Grant was named VP of integrated sales and marketing at Hachette Filipacchi Media. Grant was formerly the vice president and publisher of Home magazine.
Sephora.com becomes the latest retailer to implement ratings and reviews from Bazaarvoice. The cosmetics and beauty retailer will include “Sephora Star” ratings and product reviews from shoppers and experts throughout the site.
AOL Moviefone selected Apptera to manage and monetize its calls. Moviefone’s interactive voice recognition service will use Apptera to manage and insert voice and visual mobile advertising.
Russell Kowalski was named chief financial officer of Moxie Interactive. Kowalski was previously CFO of Studiocom. He also served as VP of financial operations at Adair Greene. Moxie is a division of Zenith Media.
