Execs & Accounts for January 26, 2007

Molecular and Tribal DDB promote from within, MTV Networks Man Moves to an Agency, Hires at FeedRoom, Scripps and Cellfire.

Molecular promoted Howard Kogan to president. Kogan, who has been with Molecular for 10 years, replaces Ralph Folz, who remains the company’s CEO. Four more Molecular vets were promoted. Patrick Health was promoted from VP of engineering to managing director of Boston. Cameron Logan was named director of engineering. Alec Francesconi’s role as director of strategy will expand to focus on managing growth. Don Bell is now VP of project management.

Cellfire added Ken Karnes as VP of retail sales. The mobile coupon service plans to have Karnes develop and maintain retailer relationships and develop business solutions. Karnes was previously VP of business development at ADVO.

Tribal DDB’s Cosmo Campbell was promoted to creative director of the Vancouver office. Campbell’s previous position at DDB Vancouver was associate creative director.

Andy Goldman was named VP of finance of the FeedRoom. Goldman spent eight years at IntraLinks.

Scripps Networks promoted Ron Feinbaum to VP of business development. As VP of business development, Feinbaum will be responsible for scouting new business and acquisition opportunities. His previous title at Scripps was GM and SVP of Scripps Networks Interactive.

Sports and entertainment wall graphics marketer Fathead named Maiden Lane as its first integrated ad agency. Fathead makes vinyl displays that adhere to walls for MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, NASCAR, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Star Wars and collegiate teams.

Bernard Meisler joined Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners as technology strategist. The position is newly-created, and serves the agency’s focus on technology and the expansion of its San Francisco interactive unit. Meisler previously worked at MTV Networks as a senior Web developer and technical lead on several projects.

TheFind.com named two hires to its management team. Philip Nelson was named advisory chief technical officer. His experience includes being CTO of Verity Corp. Zoran Dukic was named VP of engineering. Dukic was previously technical director at Turn.
