Execs & Accounts: BBH, Rockett Interactive, iPerceptions

Bartle, Bartle, Bogle, & Hegarty works with GMAC Financial to launch a new financial brand; Rockett Interactive creates an online campaign for the financial brand BB&T; iPerceptions names a new CEO.

GMAC Financial Services bank Ally selects BBH to create its brand. Ally, a new bank from GMAC Financial Services, used Bartle, Bogle, & Hegarty as its agency. A multimedia campaign with the tagline “straightforward” was launched to promote the brand.

BB&T selects online ad agency of record. BB&T, a financial holding company based in Winston-Salem, NC, with more than 1,500 financial centers in 11 states and Washington, DC, selected Rockett Interactive of Cary, NC, as the agency of record for interactive media placement.

iPerceptions appoints a new CEO. Web-focused analytics company iPerceptions named Claude Guay president and CEO. And, IPerceptions founder Jerry Tarasofsky will step down as CEO and remain active as the company’s chief evangelist. Guay comes to iPerceptions from PhoCusWright, where he provided consulting to companies in travel and tourism. He was previously executive vice president and CIO of Gildan Activewear.

Kontera hired Doug Smith to its sales team. Smith, named Northwest regional sales manager, was previously senior account executive at Yahoo and director of West Coast sales at Ask.com.
