AOL's Flannigan departs for Viacom, Mike Rich replaces; IncrediMail names Javier Salon director of business development.
Mike Rich was named VP and general manager of AOL Music, AOL Radio, Moviefone.com and AOL Television. He replaced Erik Flannigan, who disembarked for Viacom. Rich was most recently VP of AOL programming products and operations. He joined the portal in 2001.
IncrediMail hired Javier Salom as director of business development in its New York Office. He was previously VP of international strategic marketing at Miramax Film Corp.
Intuit re-upped its contract with comScore Networks. The deal covers Internet audience measurement services and online behavior analysis. Intuit has been a comScore customer for two years.
Siegel+Gale hired Douglas Stone as group director of interactive media. Stone was CEO of online marketing firm Abstract Edge and was previously a head of interactive marketing for Starwood Hotels.
PointRoll hired Shannon Thompson as director of channel development. Thompson was previously with Yahoo, where she spearheaded the portal’s rich media offerings to advertisers.
Beliefnet named Cathy O’Brien president and chief operating officer. She was previously group publisher of growth markets at Time.
Interactive marketing firm Rare Method acquired fellow Calgary agency Ground Level Design in a cash deal. Terms were not disclosed.
