24/7 Media in New York City, the interactive ad network formed by the recent merger of Petry Interactive, the team behind former Katz Millennium Marketing and Interactive Imaginations Inc., named its executive team.

CEO will be David J. Moore, former president and CEO of Petry Interactive. He will work with Jay Friesel, executive vice president, sales and administration; Mark Burchill, senior vice president, business development and marketing; Gary Cecchini, senior vice president, sales; Scott Cohen, senior vice president; Geoff Judge, senior vice president, technology and operations; and Stuart Shaw, senior vice president, finance and administration.

The company, supported by an investment of $10 million from institutional investors, said it is positioned to provide an estimated 500 million advertising impressions per month.

24/7 Media already represents AT&T WorldNet, Columbia House, Comedy Central, Fox News, Reuters MoneyNet, BigBook, Frommer’s Travel Guide, Rolling Stone, Modern Bride, and Better Homes and Gardens Online.

Moore co-founded Petry Interactive; launched an online service for physicians, which was sold to Reuters in 1994; and created HealthLink Television, a physician waitingroom service for patients that was sold to Whittle Communications in 1992.

Friesel, responsible for securing strategic business alliances as well as the coordination of the company’s sales efforts, is the former president of Katz Millennium Marketing.

Burchill, senior vice president of business development and marketing, joined David Moore to start Petry Interactive in 1995.

Cecchini, senior vice president of sales, will oversee day-to-day sales management of 24/7 Media’s national team. He is the former head of the interactive sales division of Katz Media, Katz Millennium Marketing.

Cohen, senior vice president and formerly at Petry, will develop new programs including a dedicated sponsorship division.

Judge, senior vice president of technology and operations, will oversee technical and adserving capabilities. He was formerly the president of Interactive Imaginations, the producers of Riddler.com.

Shaw, senior vice president of finance and administration, will continue his focus from Petry Interactive on financial and administrative processes and procedural controls.
