AOL has confirmed its European CEO Dana Dunne is leaving the company. He’ll be replaced on an interim basis by VP of Business Expansion Ariel Eckstein. An AOL spokesperson said its new global CEO Tim Armstrong, who joined the firm in March, is in the process of conducting a 100 day business review, due to conclude in around six weeks, and after which a new strategy is likely to be announced.
Mindshare Worldwide has appointed Ciaran Norris as director for innovation. There, he will head up a new joint venture with social media agency, SocialMedia8. Norris will leave his current role as head of social marketing and SEO at Altogether Digital next week, and will now report directly to Norm Johnson, Mindshare’s global digital chief.
Iris Worldwide has appointed former British Telecom Head of Organizational Development and Design Kathryn Pritchard to a newly created role of Global Talent Director. The appointment is designed to facilitate aggressive worldwide expansion beyond the integrated marketing agency’s current operations across thirteen markets. Pritchard will assume her new role as of July.
