That was the question faced by Barney Brown, Head of Digital Communications at the University of Cambridge. One of the worlds’ most prestigious universities, it was represented across social media channels by 260 accounts, managed by a huge variety of people across roles and departments.
Brown didn’t have the resources to properly monitor and maintain that many channels manually, impacting his ability to test content, and needed a cohesive way to respond to the questions coming in. By combining a few simple strategies he was able to achieve this — and boost Facebook fan growth by 400% in the process.
