ActFit.com Inc. selected Edelman Public Relations to work with thecompany's in-house marketing team in promoting ActFit.com's new verticalportal Web site.

ActFit.com Inc. selected Edelman Public Relations to work with the company’s in-house marketing team in promoting ActFit.com’s new vertical portal Web site.

ActFit.com connects consumers to a source of information, products and services for pursuing an active lifestyle, including fitness, health and sports. The portal was launched on Oct. 4

“The Edelman technology practice distinguished themselves with creative ideas based on a solid understanding of how to build a Web-brand that will drive Internet traffic,” said Rodger Campbell, ActFit.com COO.

Billings were not disclosed.

Edelman won the account following a review and competition with a number of agencies.
