Bazaarvoice names Osborne VP of sales; Powered picks Tack for VP of worldwide sales; Firstborn adds to its creative team.

Bazaarvoice named Michael Osborne VP of sales. Osborne will be responsible for driving the word-of-mouth marketing company’s sales efforts, with a focus on Top 100 retailers. Osborne joins Bazaarvoice from Coremetrics where he was director of client services. Prior to Coremetrics, Osborne held sales and engineering positions at Intel, Microsoft, and Trilogy.

Powered appointed Michelle Tack VP of worldwide sales. Tack will be responsible for driving the marketing and consumer education company’s worldwide sales efforts with a focus on increasing revenue and forging relationships among Fortune 1000 enterprises. Prior to joining Powered, Tack was VP of worldwide sales at Apani Networks, an enterprise software security company. She has also held sales VP positions at Stellent, Docent and Peoplesoft.

Firstborn added three new hires to its creative team, and promoted Dan LaCivita to executive producer. The interactive design and development shop added Lucy Swithenby, formerly with the IAB, as producer; John White, formerly of HUGA and AKQA, as interactive designer; and Ally Jo, formerly of Samsung, as an interactive designer.

Zacks Investment Research has chosen Opt-Intelligencefor lead generation and ad-serving on its institutional and individual investor-oriented Web sites. Opt-Intelligence will serve demographically targeted ads from advertisers in its network on Zacks.com, Zacksadvisor.com, and other sites in its financial content network.
