Capella University taps Avenue A/Razorfish; PriceGrabber president takes CEO reins; TheStreet.com goes with Revenue Science.
Capella University, an online institution of higher learning, handed its online advertising duties to Avenue A/Razorfish. Avenue A/Razorfish will handle planning and buying, while creative responsibilities will fall to sister agency i-frontier.
PriceGrabber President Kamran Pourzanjani has taken the company’s reins as CEO. Former CEO Tamim Mourad will become chief product officer of the comparison shopping engine, and will retain his seat as chairman of the board.
“Kamran has a unique understanding of the dynamics of our industry,” said Mourad. “He has successfully grown PriceGrabber.com from a bootstrap company to a major Internet player with wide reach and scope.” Additionally, Pourzanjani retains his spot as president.
TheStreet.com is using Revenue Science’s behavioral targeting platform to package audience segments. “Advertisers are always looking for new, creative and effective ways to connect with TheStreet.com’s audience,” said VP of Ad Sales Tom O’Regan.
DoubleClick renewed DART for Publisher ad management contracts with Viacom clients CBS SportsLine.com and MTV Networks. The deal extends both relationships for three years.
TVGuide.com tapped Falk eSolutions for ad serving and management. Falk said the site reaches 13 million unique visitors.
