24/7 Real Media promotes Hess, Piccone replaces; Accipiter adds two from venture firm to its board.
24/7 Real Media promoted John Piccone to VP of U.S. tech sales, replacing Robert Hess, who moves up to VP of strategic accounts and initiatives. Piccone joined Real Media eight years ago, and spent the subsequent time heading the creation of Real Media Europe.
Accipiter Solutions has formed its first board of directors, bringing aboard Donald Telage and Michael Ramich to work with co-founders Brian Handly and Jeff Wood. Both of the outside board members work with Frontier Capital, which recently invested $2 million in the ad technology firm. Ramich is a principal with Frontier, and Telage helps the firm assess and manage companies in its portfolio.
Avenue A / Razorfish launched a new site for client Apple Vacations. The site delivers a new online brand for the travel agency and improves its ability to book special vacation packages.
Rotational Hitting SoCal tapped Global Vision Interactive to design its site and launch an online campaign targeted to Southern California. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
