Epsilon promoes Dundon; USA Today appoints a head of integrated product marketing; InfoSpace head of mobile and online media departs.
Epsilon promoted Paul Dundon to CFO. He was previously SVP of finance. Dundon joined Epsilon in 1998, and boasts 20 years of business accounting and operations experience.
Laryssa Kundanmal was named VP of integrated product marketing at USA Today.The position heads up a newly formed group charged with developing ad products that span the online and print editions. Kundanmal joined USA Today in 1998 and most recently served as director of marketing. In her new role Kundanmal reports to Jeff Weber, USA Today’s SVP of advertising.
Stephen Davis said he will step down as president of mobile and online media at InfoSpace as of the first of the year to pursue other career opportunities. Due to restructuring, InfoSpace has no plans to replace him.
U.S. News & World Report signed Vivisimo Velocity to power search for its editorial staff. Vivisimo Velocity will index the paper’s content as well as third-party resources such as EBSCO, ProQuest, LexisNexis and certain RSS Feeds.
Fox Sports International promoted Edward Derse to VP of interactive media. Derse will oversee Fox Sports International’s interactive and emerging platforms, including Internet, broadband, IPTV, and wireless. FSI Internet sites include Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Sports en Espanol, and Fox Sports Latin America. Derse served most recently as director of interactive media of FSI. He joined FSI parent News Corp in January of 2000.
