Tacoda rapidly grows behavioral network; Avenue A | Razorfish rebuilds Nielsen Media Research site; Massive Inc. hires sales exec to lead U.K./Scandivania region.
In three months, Tacoda has added 2,000 sites to its behavioral targeting ad network. They include properties run by Scripps, Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., and Advance Internet. The network’s total reach is now 128 million monthly uniques, Tacoda said.
Avenue A | Razorfish redesigned Nielsen Media Research’s site. The Web presence describes the company’s people, products and services, and provides a “behind-the-scenes look at the world of TV ratings,” the companies said.
In-game ad network Massive Inc. hired David Orman as VP of ad sales for the U.K. and Scandinavia. Orman was sales director at Eurosport Television.
Yahoo named Ricardo Baeza-Yates to lead new R&D centers in Spain and Chile. The new operations will focus on Web search and information extraction. Baeza-Yates will be based in Barcelona and report directly to Yahoo research head Prabhakar Raghavan.
