Avenue A | Razorfish builds site for Carnival; Bazaarvoice names Ze Frank to advisory board; Atari taps Special Ops for Dragonball Z site work.

Avenue A | Razorfish built a site for client Carnival Cruise Lines at FunShipIsland.com. The interactive agency created the site for the cruise line to provide vacationers with a virtual glimpse into the cruise experience.

Atari tapped Special Ops Media to redesign and restructure its Dragonball Z Web site. The interactive advertising agency built a function into the site allowing users to change the look and feel and feature one of the Dragonball Z characters.

Bazaarvoice named Ze Frank to its advisory board. Frank, a celebrated video blogger and interactive media designer, will help the hosted social commerce applications provider drive community participation around user-generated content.

Active Athlete Media named T.J. Kelly as vice president of marketing. The sports-focused digital media firm hired Kelly from a position as vice president of marketing for LookSmart.

Woods Witt & Sons named Phyllis Dealy partner, director of account services. The marketing agency changed its name to Woods Witt Dealy & Sons with the appointment.

Virgin Megastores selected Cellfire for its mobile coupons technology. Consumers will be able to receive discounts on merchandise at Virgin Megastores, including CDs, DVDs, books, apparel, and cell phone memory storage, directly on their cell phones. Cellfire users will receive coupons for Virgin Megastores located in New York City; Orange, CA; Hollywood, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Ontario, CA; and San Francisco, CA.

Ascent Media Group hired Lori Dicker as VP of business development, digital services. The provider of strategic and technology consulting for the electronic media and entertainment industry hired Dicker from a position as managing director of Eyeblaster West Coast.

Gorilla Nation Canada hired three execs. The online ad rep firm hired Michael Giles and Michael DiGiovanni, both as account executives, and Asif Din as media planner. All three will work out of the Toronto sales office.

Chinnici Direct has been renamed Company C. The agency is part of MDC Partners Inc.

Imaginova taps Behavior to redesign LiveScience.com. The interactive agency was tasked with reworking the science news and information Web site.

Gemstar-TV Guide selected Maven Networks to support its online video channels. The media, entertainment and technology company will provide over 300 dynamically generated video players at TVGuide.com.
