ViTrue and Denuo partner; MediaSpan hires several; IAC/InterActiveCorp hires MaryAnn Rivers as CEO of entertainment publications

ViTrue, which runs a platform for user-generated advertising, partnered with Publicis’ “futures practie” Denuo. The agency unit has existing partnerships with Brightcove, Lightningcast and Black Arrow.

MediaSpan hired several in sales and product management. Charlie Ponger, former interactive general manager at the Tribune Corporation, joins the company’s online services unit as head of sales for its newspaper and radio segments. David Gordon, previously with iCrossing was named director of network ad sales. And Roger Retke, formerly in a wireless delivery role with Reuters, joins as VP of product development.

IAC/InterActiveCorp hired MaryAnn Rivers as CEO of entertainment publications. She was previously VP of business development and product management at Valassis.

aQuantive promoted Scott Howe to oversee international efforts for its DRIVEpm ad network and media services unit and its Atlas digital marketing technologies unit. He has led the DRIVEpm business since its founding in December 2003.


Steve Newman has become VitalStream’s VP of ad services.
Newman joined the company when VitalStream acquired Eonstreams, where he was CEO.

Behavior Design built a new site for vacation property management company ResortQuest International. The project produced a single comprehensive site from one hundred different vacation rental and real estate properties.


Accipiter signed new European and Indian customers to its AdManager platform.
They include NetFocus Spain and India-based Ozone Media.
