Nokia picks W+K; TBS Takes from Yahoo; Mediaedge names new CFO
Nokia named Wieden+Kennedy as its lead strategic and creative agency. Nokia tasked the agency with creation and development of all global campaigns.
Turner Broadcasting Business Development Group added two execs. The Time Warner-owned news and entertainment producer added Kris Nielsen-Refs and Harold Goings as directors. Nielsen-Refs came from his position as account manager for Turner Broadcasting System Europe Limited while Goings previously served as senior manager of business development for Yahoo Media Group.
Mediaedge:cia named Mark Sanders chief financial officer, North America. Sanders will assume CFO responsibilities of the media communications company from Tom Handy. Previously Sanders was CFO at Initiative US.
The Booyah Agency added five execs. The online marketing division of Booyah Networks, hired Charl Oosthuizen, Kellie Moen, Henry Bullis and Vanessa Bendetti as account coordinators. The company also hired Justin Ehly as regional sales director for its online video ad serving division, SpotXchange.
Latitude Group has appointed Phil MacKechnie as manager of its London-based search engine optimization team. The search marketing agency hired MacKechnie from Mad Productions Ltd.
BrightWave promoted Brent R. Rosengren to director of client services. Rosengren was previously manager of client services for the e-mail marketing services firm.
