Infospace hires two execs in its search and directory business; Tacoda adds advisors.

Infospace hired Dominic Trigg as VP of Infospace Europe and John Thornhill as director of business development in its search and directory business. Trigg was ad sales director at MSN and ad operations director for Yahoo U.K. Thornhill has held posts with IBM, PA Consulting and Metronomy.

Tacoda named Sean Finnegan and Robert DeSena to its board of advisors. Finnegan is U.S. Director for OMD Digital. DeSena is managing director at Mars Direct.

ContextWeb added HighBeam Research and Meredith Corporation to its distribution network. The Web sites for Meredith’s Better Homes and Gardens, American Baby and Ladies Home Journal will display ContextWeb contextual ads, as will HighBeam search engine.

BlueLithium has begun offering its AdRevolver clients IP-based targeting from Digital Envoy. Digital Envoy’s NetAcuity IP Intelligence technology lets advertisers target online audiences based on geographic location and other parameters like domain name, connection speed and zip code.

Medical Broadcasting Company, a healthcare-focused interactive agency, hired Jim Burke and Craig Douglass, former partners in Douglass Burke LLC. Burke joins as SVP and group management supervisor, Douglass as SVP and group creative director.
