Kanoodle hires Zucker as SVP of sales; Old Mutual to use NetTracker for Web analytics; Karmaloop implements Skylist's e-mail marketing platform.
Kanoodle hired Andrew Zucker as senior VP of sales, based in the New York. Zucker spent his last seven years with IAC/InterActiveCorp, most recently as head of ad sales for the IAC’s entire site network, including Ticketmaster, Match.com, Evite and Citysearch. Earlier, he spent eight years as ad director for The New York Observer.
Old Mutual will use Sane Solutions’ NetTracker Web metrics software. The financial services group will employ NetTracker to measure and analyze online user behavior for both captured leads and current customers.
“Our previous Web analytics tool only provided us with fixed monthly reports,” said Old Mutual Research Analyst Juliet Van Zyl. “NetTracker provided us with more data mining features than any other Web analytics package that we tested.”
Online boutique Karmaloop will use Skylist’s StormPost email marketing system to deliver offers to its list of 350,000 subscribers. Karmaloop’s order flow and customer care requirements have increased steadily since it launched four years ago, culminating now in the need for a scalable email solution.
